This is Paul's fourth year with the Hurricanes. In his role, he oversees how our volunteers are involved in support of ongoing club programs. He also serves as a liaison between the various committees and the Executive Team and plays an important chairperson role at general meetings and our closing banquet. Both of Paul's daughters played volleyball in the Halton region and being involved with HRVC gives him a chance to "give back" to both his community and the sport of volleyball.
Paul and his wife are long time residents of the Burlington community and are actively involved in supporting their 3 children's activities. Paul is a Sr. Sales Executive at a major Canadian communications provider.
Bill will be responsible for guiding the club's implementation of the Long Term Athlete Development model, importantly as it impacts players' and coaches' training and expectations. He will draw on his experience to guide the club's framework for reviewing current practices, developing new initiatives, and standardizing programs in order to move every player optimally forward.
Nancy Sell - Treasurer & Special Events Lead
Nancy took the role of Team Parent Rep when her daughter Hannah first joined HRVC in the 2006/2007 season. Since then, she has joined the executive in the capacity of Secretary & Special Events Lead and most recently as Treasurer. In her current role as Treasurer, Nancy performs the day-to-day banking needs for HRVC as well as liaisons with the club?s accounting firm to ensure all month and year end obligations are met.
Nancy is a Project Manager for a digital signage company in Burlington as well as a recently published author. Nancy, her husband Hans and their teenage daughter Hannah live in Burlington and are active members of their community.
The 5 members of the Board of Directors provide overall governance of the operations of the club. This includes all decisions relating to finance, communication, publicity, organization, technical direction, fund-raising, member conduct and other operational areas. They meet monthly to oversee the daily operations of the club. Members may request the addition of an item to the monthly agenda via the Secretary one week in advance of the scheduled meeting.

Lawrey Body - Secretary
As secretary, Lawrey's primary role will be to keep the Executive team informed onall Club activities while overseeing the monthly executive meetings and managing agendas, minutes and follow-up.
Lawrey ismarried with two daughters; her 14 year old daughter is going into her thirdyear with the hurricanes.
Jacquie's desire in forming HRVC was to provide more opportunities for girls to play volleyball at both competitive and recreational levels in the spirit of "all play". She has a passion for volleyball, and came to the club environment through her 2 daughters. She is an avid volleyball player in the
