Meet our executive team

Paul O'Heron - President

This is Paul's fourth year with the Hurricanes. In his role, he oversees how our volunteers are involved in support of ongoing club programs. He also serves as a liaison between the various committees and the Executive Team and plays an important chairperson role at general meetings and our closing banquet. Both of Paul's daughters played volleyball in the Halton region and being involved with HRVC gives him a chance to "give back" to both his community and the sport of volleyball.

Paul and his wife are long time residents of the Burlington community and are actively involved in supporting their 3 children's activities. Paul is a Sr. Sales Executive at a major Canadian communications provider.

Julie Roscoe - Vice President

In her role on the Executive, Julie oversees and directs the operations of HRVC including: the season's operating budget, supplier relationships, training schedules and locations. She also acts as the OVA liaison for coaching in-service opportunities.

Julie is a successful entrepreneur, managing her own company for the last 6 years in the Burlington community.

Michael Sanscartier - Communications Director
Michael has been involved with the Hurricanes since the founding of the club in 2005. In his role as Communications Director, Michael oversees and directs the communications of the club with the internal and external communities. He also promotes the club's activities through local media, the OVA, and via the web.

Michael is married and has two children who both share a passion for volleyball. Michael is Vice-President of Sales with a major gift-ware company.

Bill Seto - Technical Director
The club is excited to announce the appointment of Bill as Technical Director. Bill has come out of retirement to bring HRVC athletes and coaches over 40 years of experience as a university and National Team player, OVA club and University coach, beach & indoor camp director, OVA technical clinician & Regional Director, and Provincial level referee.

Bill will be responsible for guiding the club's implementation of the Long Term Athlete Development model, importantly as it impacts players' and coaches' training and expectations. He will draw on his experience to guide the club's framework for reviewing current practices, developing new initiatives, and standardizing programs in order to move every player optimally forward.
